Imola speedway

Enzo and Dino Ferrari Speedway, known as Imola Speedway, is a speedway of international reputation entitled to Enzo Ferrari, founder of the namesake car company.

The Speedway, the symbol of Imola, hosted the Formula One Grand Prix of Italy in 1980 and all the Formula One Grand Prix San Marino editions from 1981 to 2006. As regards the MotoGP , all four editions Of the Grand Prix City of Imola (between 1996 and 1999), seven editions of the Grand Prix of Motorcycling of Italy (1969, 1972, 1974, 1975, 1977, 1979 and 1988) and two editions of the San Marino Grand Prix (In 1981 and 1983). He currently hosts the Superbike Grand Prix of Italy, as well as many other motorcycling and car races worldwide. It is one of the few circuits in wich you can run counter-clockwise.

On the days of public opening, the track is available to everyone, with the aim of knowing closely this historic track in which countless races have been played over the years, and race down the runaway for fun or workout, proving yourself walking or riding a bicycle.

Imola is a lively city, located at the foot of the Tosco-Romagna Apennine border land between Emilia and Romagna, about 30 km from Bologna, the international exhibition pole. Art, music, sports, green excursions, food and wine, cars and its “Enzo and Dino Ferrari” Speedway, with a new track and pits.

This city offers a wide choice of shops and shopping facilities, trendy cafes and trendy restaurants.

The happy geographical position, near Bologna, the Riviera Romagnola and well connected with Florence and Venice, makes Imola an ideal venue for conferences, meetings and many activities.
